Seven containers in four days: successful project deployment in Neuruppin

At the Jungmichel construction site in Neuruppin, IPA Bauchemische Produkte GmbH worked together with a Bodenbender technician to renovate a total of seven plaster slurry tanks using the wet spraying method. For this project, the Bodenbender shaft centrifuge trailer, which is normally used for coatings using the centrifuge process, was successfully converted for the wet spraying process and used together with other machines from the company. The work took a total of four days, with each container taking around four hours to complete. One technician from IPA, one technician from Bodenbender and three employees from Jungmichel were involved in the project.

High-quality IPA materials such as IPA Unimörtel BTG and IPA Polyschicht were used. The Unimörtel BTG in particular proved to be the ideal choice, as its extended curing time allowed the long hose routes of around 20 meters between the trailer and the pit to be bridged without any problems. Thanks to the professional instruction and close cooperation of the technicians, the schedule was met in full despite the challenging conditions.

The water supply on site posed a particular challenge. As the nearest drinking water connection was a long way away, an IBC container was completely filled and used as a water source, from which work was carried out throughout the entire project. Despite this additional logistical measure, the refurbishment went successfully and smoothly, so that all seven rendered slurry tanks could be professionally coated on time.
